Last night (Oct. 30) around 8:30 pm approximately 28 police cars from PTC, Fayette, and Coweta raced down 74 and closed the Hwy at Georgian Parkway.

birdman: HE DIDN'T WEAR A FLAG PIN... HE MUST BE UNAMERICAN

Can you believe it??? After all the hassle about not wearing a flag pin you would have thought he would have learned. Certainly it shows his absolute disdain for the country!

birdman: Delta Pilot Haters

birdman's picture

I would like to apologize to those of you that hate me because I fly airplanes. I don't know what it is that elicits this dislike, but speaking only for myself, I am sorry I did something that made you hate me so much.

birdman: Steve Brown, Thanks for answering my questions

birdman's picture

Steve,

Sorry it took so long to respond to your answers. I appreciate you taking the time. I don't necessarily agree but don't want to argue them all. I do want to address one of your replies, specifically about TDK. You replied that I "pieced words together." Actually, NOT TRUE! I have asked you about this before and am asking again...You blame everyone from Lenox to Logsden for TDK while always maintaining you fought it. My question and quotes come from your Letter to the Editor of Oct. 5 2005. You always seem to dodge your own words. So I am going to copy and paste THE ENTIRE LETTER! Will you please show us where, in this letter, you tell us how YOU tried to stop TDK. It seems you take credit for it only a few months before Logsden took office, then blame Logsden for not killing the project. Again, WHY didn't you simply kill the project.

birdman: Steve Brown...Will you answer these question?

Steve,
I read your usual "every city council but my city council is corrupt" letter and I do have some questions for you to answer:

birdman: He's Baaaaaack!

birdman's picture

I'm sure everyone read the "Free Speech." Knew Brown couldn't stay away long. Guess he finally painted his daughter's bedroom. Now with no job he can start again. The Free Speech "heralding" all the "accomplishments" of the past four years is soooo transparent!

birdman: Just For the Record on Brown

birdman's picture

I know this is now moot, but just for the record to all you "gee Logsden doesn't answer my questions" group, I asked Steve Brown three times the same question on this forum. The third time was because he said he "couldn't find it." So I directed him to it. Maybe some of you remember. I asked about annexation. So far he has totally failed any acknowledgement. Does that show how willing HE is to answer questions? As I said this is now moot. Hopefully Brown will be a mere "pimple" on PTC's history.

birdman: The Question for Brown YET AGAIN (third time)

birdman's picture

Ok, just logged on. I have asked repeatedly about your stand on annexation in 2001 and you have yet to answer it. So here goes:

birdman: Another Question for Mayor Brown

birdman's picture

Mayor Brown,

Quite awhile ago I read an email you wrote that stated that an at grade crossing at the Comcast cable tower at Highway 74 would be "insane." I am curious why you have continually purposed exactly this "insane" crossing in your annexation plan? What has changed? And just to jog your memory the email was addressed to someone named "Bob."

birdman: ANNEXATION

birdman's picture

Ã…nnexation is, rightfully so, a major issue in this campaign. Steve Brown ran in 2001 as an "anti-annexation" candidate. And now he and his supporters are trying to paint Harold Logsden as a "pro-annexation" candidate. Well, that is simply Brown's typical "say what is necessary" to get the vote. So if you are truly concerned about annexation (and you should be) look at the facts.

birdman: Steve Brown and HIS Promises

birdman's picture

There has been a lot of talk lately about Logsden and his soluitions. Well, Brown really didn't offer many solutions either. Sure he is throwing out some, but as mayor, why haven't these "solutions" been forth coming before now? Anyway, one merely has to look at what Brown considered issues in 2001, the "solutions" he put forth, and his actions. So here goes.

birdman: Mayor Brown, Please Answer These Questions

Mayor Brown,

I asked you five questions earlier and am looking forward to your timely response. I now have another question. Since you pride yourself on "never running from questions," I look forward to your answers to this:
