DragNet: A lame duck ducks!

Salient President Bush last night claimed his decision to invade Iraq had been vindicated after US troops uncovered an arsenal of shoes on the outskirts of Fallujah.

DragNet: OBAMA WINS !

DragNet's picture

As expected...Oh Hobbes, Fred Garvin, Hersheybear, bighammer, where are thou?

By the way, did you notice the crowd listening to McCain conceding speech? It looked as diverse as First Baptist Church in any southern town.

Barack Obama and Sarah Palin met last night to straighten out their differences.

Here is a picture testimonial of th

DragNet: Campaign of Hope vs. Campaign of Fear

DragNet's picture

The Obama and McCain campaigns are an amazing contrast: On one side we have McCain and his ferociuos attack dog Palin calling Obama every possible name (from Socialist to the AntiChrist), trying desperately to find links between Obama and obscure persons, likening him to Paris Hilton, even highlighting that "Obama" sounds much like "Osama". The mud is flying, even though they know it won't affect the election. The robocalls are having the opposite effect. It is clear the intention of McCain's camp, they want to divert attention from the real issues, the economy in shambles that the Republicans (Bush and McCain) have created in the last 8 years. This campaign of fear only creates hatred and brings up the worst in humanity. They have no qualms to instrumentalize poor, unintelligent creatures like Joe the plumber. Shame on the McCain campaign for their lack of ideas and incompetence.

Take a read to the editorial endorsement for Barack Obama by The New York Times. Great piece, I think we can rest our case for change.

DragNet: Palin's latest scandal

DragNet's picture

This is fresh, from the Associated Press--Just heard that Sarah Palin took her husband and kids along to "official" trips and events in New York and Europe----nothing wrong with family trips. The bad thing is that she paid for these trips (air tickets, hotels and meals) with taxpayer's money from the State of Alaska. Not only that, but when questioned, she actually made the State accountants CHANGE and ammend her expense reports and the description of charges to make them appear "official".

DragNet: Just a little fun from Europe

To the citizens of the United States of America:

In light of your failure to elect a competent President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, plus having ruined the economy we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately. Her Sovereign Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths and other territories (excepting Kansas, which she does not fancy) and including Alaska (Governor Palin: you're fired).

I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.

Years of deregulating everything by the Republicans are finally paying off. Regulators (?) dormant at the switch didn't see it coming, the demise of Wall Street as we know it with dire consequences soon coming to your stock investments and your pension funds. You can start kissing goodbye to retirement as the debacle eats up your 401(K)s and IRAs.

DragNet: THE DANCE OF BILLIONS

DragNet's picture

I just heard that george Dubya is sending ONE BILLION DOLLARS to Georgia. The only bad thing is that this is not Sonny's Georgia but an obscure former Soviet Republic being run by Cheney's cronies. This is an outrageous spending, on top of the TEN BILLION DOLLARS being spent MONTHLY in Iraq, the TWO BILLION being spent in Afghanistan MONTHLY and the FIVE BILLION DOLLARS being borrowed MONTHLY from China to pay for Saudi oil. Do the math, this mammoth growing deficit, now at the tune of TEN TRILLION DOLLARS (10 followed by 12 zeros I believe) is the inheritance of the worst, most disastrous Republican administration in history. It will take a burden on ourselves, our sons and grandsons to PAY for this dance to which nobody invited us.

DragNet: The Republican Ticket --- scary, to say the least

DragNet's picture

John McCain insists on making things difficult for himself. As if it's not will be easy to get elected as the next Republican President following the crimes and incompetence of George W. Bush, now he has selected a soccer mom with zero knowledge of foreign and economic policy to the VP spot. Imagine this lady takingover the presidency on the likely scenario of McCain kicking the bucket; imagine her as commander in chief making life or death decisions for Americans. Would you trust such an inexperienced person with the future of our country in these specially hard times?

DragNet: The Bush "Legacy"

DragNet's picture

America is in deep trouble. How did we get into this mess?

Consider the following highlights of the legacy we are receiving from this disgraced president:

DragNet: The Iraq Mess and America's Image in the World

DragNet's picture

It is difficult to grasp the mess that the Bush Administration has created by sheer incompetence in handling Iraq. Things would not be that bad if we didn't face a future in which terrorist, emboldened by this failure, will attempt further attacks on us.

DragNet: Bush on Immigration

DragNet's picture

I just read Bush speech on immigration delivered at the Federal Law Enforcement Center in coastal Georgia. SHAME!

How did we get deceived by this president? It seems that now, lawbreakers will be rewarded with amnesty while legal immmigrants efforts to bring their relatives LEGALLY into the U.S.
