Michael Boylan: See the debut of Torti Georgia
Jarred Hall, a fifth grade student at Peeples Elementary School, was on hand to see the unveiling of the mascot for the Stage One Overall Start of the 2007 Tour de Georgia. Hall came up with the mascot's name, Torti Georgia, and received a prize pack at the unveiling at Jittery Joe's in Peachtree City on Saturday morning. He also got to take it for a spin with Jittery Joe's owner Mark Darrow.

I visited Reality Indoor Climbing in Peachtree City the other day and spoke with members of their competition team. Two of the members demonstrated their climbing abilities for me. There will be a feature on the team in an upcoming edition of the paper.

Michael Boylan: The Christmas show at Legacy TheatreI took in "A Christmas Survival Guide" at The Legacy Theatre in Tyrone yesterday and thought I'd post my thoughts. The theatre itself is amazing, as is the fact that they got it all done in time to open the day after Thanksgiving. It is beautifuly decorated inside and the theatre (seats, stage, etc.) are first class. There's not a bad seat in the house and the seats are all comfortable.
