Who wants to make football picks?

Each football season The Citizen runs football picks for all the local high school games along with a local college pick or two and a pro pick or two.

This year, we are looking for one of our readers to fill a weekly spot in the picks. You'll go head to head with Citizen staff members (me, John Thompson and John Munford) and the Magic Eight Ball.

Send your qualifications on why you should be in the football picks and a good digitial photo with a close shot of your face to sports@thecitizen.com by Friday, Aug. 25 at noon.

If you are selected you will be in next week's football section and will be making picks throughout the high school season - until all of the local teams are out.
