The Christmas show at Legacy Theatre

I took in "A Christmas Survival Guide" at The Legacy Theatre in Tyrone yesterday and thought I'd post my thoughts.

The theatre itself is amazing, as is the fact that they got it all done in time to open the day after Thanksgiving. It is beautifuly decorated inside and the theatre (seats, stage, etc.) are first class. There's not a bad seat in the house and the seats are all comfortable.

As for the show, the set design was dazzling, the band sounded great and the performers were top-notch. They were as good as any cast I have seen at The Fox Theatre, in fact several of them have perofrmed in shows there in the past. The show looked and sounded great. Some of the songs are still banging around in my head today.

"A Christmas Survival Guide," is a musical revue. I did not know this going in, so I thought I'd pass that along. The show is just a collection of Christmas themed song and dance numbers, combining traditional carols with original songs. There is no overall plot or story to the show though, so don't be surprised.

You have to see The Legacy Theatre for yourself and tickets are still available for the remainder of the run. Visit www.thelegacytheatre.org or phone 404-895-1473 for tickets.

Mike is right! The Legacy Theatre is a gem and a great addition to Fayette County. You would pay two to three times the ticket cost to see a show like this in Atlanta. So, not only is a trip to this theatre an entertainment pleasure, it is a bargain, too! And right here in our backyard. I am so excited that I have to keep pinching myself to prove that this is really happening right here in Fayette County.
The Theatre has a great location, too, right across Hwy 74 from the Publix in Tyrone.
Go see this Christmas musical revue and enjoy this new diamond in our area.
