Faith Lutheran plans groundbreaking Sunday
Members
of Faith Lutheran Church will have a goundbreaking ceremony for their
new church this Sunday. Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Seventh
Day Adventist Church on Ga. Highway 34. The congregation will then proceed
to the building site on Fisher Road for a service and picnic lunch.The
church also will host a mission festival May 4 at the Seventh Day Adventist
Church. Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30

to consider West Nile prevention
A
mosquito spreads the West Nile virus to you by feeding on the blood
of an infected bird and then biting you. People over the age of 50 are
at the greatest risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus. Fortunately,
only a small proportion of people infected with West Nile virus experience
severe illness. However, everyone should take care to minimize exposure
to mosquito bites.
