Spring serenade at Dunaway Gardens Sunday

Residents are invited to a spring serenade at Dunaway Gardens this Sunday.

Gates will open at the northern Coweta site for garden viewing at noon, with a concert starting at 3 p.m.

The Dunaway Gardens Foundation presents The LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, featuring internationally acclaimed vocal soloist, Courtenay Budd. Courtenay grew up in Newnan and now lives in New York. The cost is $25 per person.

Historic Dunaway Gardens is located at 3218 Roscoe Road in Newnan. The gardens feature an outdoor amphitheater, lush landscaping and beautiful plants. Jennifer and Roger Bigham of Peachtree City have been restoring the gardens since the year 2000. Dunaway Gardens are just six miles north of downtown Newnan, near quaint Roscoe.
