Senoia Baptist will present Easter musical April 12, 13 The First Baptist Church of Senoia will present an Easter musical, "The Borrowed Tomb," this Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The play revolves around Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus as they struggle with loyalty before and during the crucifixion of Jesus. Their relationship with the other priests of the Sanhedrin, especially Caiaphas, becomes strained as they discover his plot to capture Jesus. Joseph of Arimathea is played by Pat Harris, Nicodemus is played by Bob Caldwell, and Caiaphas is played by Ronnie Mitchell. The play was created by Steve Moore and David Clydesdale and involves more than 50 choir and cast members and dozens of others in supporting roles behind the scenes. Directors are Tony Lees, music minister, and Fred Hottensen, drama director. There will be only two performances and there is no admission charge. However, seating is limited because of staging requirements and those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive early. Senoia Baptist is at 41 Johnson Street in Senoia.
