The Student Council
at Rising Starr Middle School sponsored a Thanksgiving Food Drive Nov.
4-18. Food was collected by homeroom and each class was asked to decorate
a box with a Thanksgiving theme. This year's winners for best decorated
box were (sixth-grade homeroom) Suzanne Quattlebaum, (seventh-grade
homeroom) Amy Maddox and (eighth-grade homeroom) Julie Gray. The overall
school winner was the seventh-grade homeroom of Greg Parsons.
