We need a revival of relationships

Fayette County is one of the most married counties in Georgia; that is, Fayette has one of the higher percentages of its population married compared to other counties. That's one reason it's too costly for single people to live here.

Christ Our Hope Lutheran will celebrate 25 years October 20

Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church in Riverdale will have its 25th anniversary celebration this Sunday with a worship service at 10:30 a.m., lunch at noon, and a special program beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Sue Ellen Hall to present program at First Presbyterian in P'tree City

Sue Ellen Hall, a mission specialist serving in Khartoum, Sudan, will present a program in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, Friday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. Coffee and dessert will be served.

Nativity Episcopal to present Gospel of Mark October 23

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will present the entire Gospel of St. Mark in a one-performer presentation by the Rev. Joseph Morris, Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.

Christ the King to host distinguished guest

Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church will receive its first visit from the Patriarch of the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church Sunday, morning, Oct. 20, during the 10 a.m. worship services.

Johnson named rector of N.C church

Former Fayette County resident, the Rev. Father Mark Johnson, has been named the new rector (senior pastor) of the Church of St. Peter the Fisherman in Wilmington, N.C. Johnson has been serving as assistant rector for the congregation for more than 14 months.
