Sue Ellen Hall to present program at First Presbyterian in P'tree City

Sue Ellen Hall, a mission specialist serving in Khartoum, Sudan, will present a program in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, Friday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. Coffee and dessert will be served.

"Sue Ellen teaches, preaches and sings," a spokesperson said. "She began her service with Presbyterian Church USA in 1986. She served in China and Central Java, Indonesia, then came home for a year at the Presbyterian Center in Louisville, Ky. as a missionary in residence."

Hall earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Christian University as a theater major with a minor in music, and uses skits and music extensively in her mission work.

While waiting a year in Amman, Jordan, for her Sudanese visa in 1997, she was able to learn a new language Arabic. She teaches training skills to young teachers from the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church and Episcopal School in Omdurman, Khartoum. In addition, she leads Bible studies in Arabic and works with the choir at Nile Theological College.

All members of the community are invited to attend. First Presbyterian is at 206 Willowbend Rd., across from the library/city hall complex, in Peachtree City.
