Fall Festivals

Ebenezer United Methodist, Oct. 19

The Annual Fall Festival at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church will be Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature a chicken barbecue, a country store and a rummage sale. Barbecue will be served until 3 p.m. The cost will be $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children. Proceeds from the country store and rummage sale will be given to the Fayette Samaritans and the barbecue proceeds will be added to the church's perpetual cemetery fund. The church is at 680 Ebenezer Church Road, between Redwine Road and Ebenezer Rd.

Sandy Creek Baptist, Oct. 26

Sandy Creek Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4-7 p.m. with activities available for all ages. Featured events include a cake walk, face painting, hay ride, dunking booth, sack race, games of all kinds and food. The church is at 1082 Sandy Creek Rd., Fayetteville.

Brooks Baptist, Oct. 26

Brooks Baptist Church, located at 123 W. McIntosh Road (at the intersection of the Ga. 85 Connector) in Brooks, is holding its first Fall Family Fun Fest Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5-7 p.m. Everyone is invited all ages no charge. Activities for children will include a Balloon Typhoon, beanbag toss, hayride, cakewalk, and more. There will be free hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and free prizes. Sandy Creek Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4-7 p.m. with activities available for all ages. Featured events include a cake walk, face painting, hay ride, dunking booth, sack race, games of all kinds and food. The church is at 1082 Sandy Creek Rd., Fayetteville.

Fayetteville First United Methodist, Oct. 27

Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have its Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The youth-sponsored event will feature a moon walk, face painting, space shoot, trick-or-treat alley, rock climbing wall, sand art, costume contest, cake walk and games. The Family Ministry committee will offer a hot dog cookout, hay ride and cotton candy. Admission is free with a canned food item for donation to the local food bank. The church is on Lanier Avenue across from the courthouse.

National Heights plans Halloween Carnival Oct. 27

National Heights Baptist Church will have its Halloween Carnival Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4-6 p.m. The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Old Norton Rd., Fayetteville. For more information, call 770-461-1704 or 770-461-3899.

Heritage Christian, Oct. 30

Heritage Christian Church will have its Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 30, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Regular Wednesday activities will be replaced with an evening of family games, fun and food. Heritage is at 2130 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville.

Hopewell United Methodist, Oct. 30

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will have a community-wide Fall Festival Wednesday Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. A snack supper will be served. Activities are planned for all ages. Inman United Methodist, Oct. 30

Inman United Methodist Church will have a Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6-7 p.m. at the church. Featured events include a costume parade and contest, pumpkin carving contest (or gourd, or watermelon), tricks, treats, cider, games, cookies and fun. For more information, call 770-461-2123.

First Presbyterian, Peachtree City, Oct. 30

Members of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will have a Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m., featuring carnival games, prizes, face painting hayrides, pony rides and pumpkin decorating. The church is at 206 Willowbend Rd., Peachtree City.
