After watching all the coverage of the flood today and watching John Oxendine, it made me wonder what would happen if PTC's Mayor Logston were to become the new Insurance Commissioner? I was absolutely horrified at the thought! A man that has in his term as Mayor has done nothing but create a mess that he is completely unable to clean up.

Well another one bites the dust. Tom Corbin – The Public Works Director of PTC was let go Friday. It is unclear weather he was laid off or fired for cause.

Today my best friend sent me an e-mail that made me stop and think. And the more I thought about it the more I agreed. I am all for personal rights and liberties, but when you are asking for help for the government (Mr. and Ms. Tax payer) I think that this request is not an unreasonable one:

Today I was going into the turning lane to make a left hand turn into the McDonald/Chick-Fil-A area and one of these wonderful people who were mowing (finally) decided to suddenly drive off the median and into my path on the street.

Apparently there isn't one! As of this morning there are 2 dead animals on Hwy 54 west of Peachtree Parkway and they have been there so long that car after car has pulverized them.

Does anyone know where I can get info on the arrests in the last week here in PTC? The paper's cop log as not there this week and I need some info.
