Joseph Redmon and
Billy Jamerson of the Southern Crescent Aquatic Team have qualified
for the USA Swimming National Championships Aug. 5-9 at the University
of Maryland. Both swimmers qualified for nationals at the Junior National
Championships in April, where they both won individual titles.

Speedway results for July 26, 2003
In
the Allan Vigil Ford Pro Late Model 50-lap event, Rusty Clanton recorded
the fastest qualifying speed, then rolled a four on the dice, placing
him in the fourth starting position. This advanced Scotty Ellis to the
pole position with Korey Ruble joining him on the front row. When the
green flag waved, Ellis jumped out in the lead with Ruble and Clanton
close behind.
