note passed between two students in a class at Whitewater Middle School
last year led authorities to believe a social studies teacher was having
an inappropriate relationship one of his students, according to prosecutors.

address residency requirements
Fayette
County schools have no plans to take legal action against parents of
children who allegedly are enrolled in the school district illegally,
as Henry County has done recently, but the issue does bring up the need
to remind parents that proof of residency is a strict requirement.
Fayete bus maintenance program amoung top in nation

Fayette County Board of Education's transportation department, hit hard
by a June 1999 fire that destroyed the district's garage, has bounced

bond referendum for library renovation and expansion on Wednesday evening.
The commission approved the choice of the Leo Daly architectural firm

to consider West Nile prevention
A
mosquito spreads the West Nile virus to you by feeding on the blood
of an infected bird and then biting you. People over the age of 50 are
at the greatest risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus. Fortunately,
only a small proportion of people infected with West Nile virus experience
severe illness. However, everyone should take care to minimize exposure
to mosquito bites.
