The opening of a new restaurant in the area always draws a good crowd and local citizens should be excited by Peachtree City's newest offering, Buckhead Brewery.

Atlanta based Buckhead Brewery and Grill, Inc. will open their newest location Monday on Ga. Highway 54 at the entrance to Lexington Square, across the street from Publix. It is the log cabin located near CVS and Bruster's Ice Cream. The inside of the lodge features antler fixtures and a blazing fireplace.

Buckhead Brewery has four other locations in metro Atlanta and has wowed customers with a wide-ranging menu that includes prime rib and steaks as well as venison, bison and quail. Some of the appetizers offered are Florida gator tail, buffalo-fried shrimp and venison stuffed mushrooms. In addition to its unique menu, Buckhead Brewery has a number of award-winning handcrafted beers.

Buckhead Brewery adds another upscale dining establishment to the current dining scene in Fayette County. They will be open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-midnight and Sunday 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Brunch will be offered on Sunday.
