Armed robbery suspect ID'd by detectives

Peachtree City police have identified the suspect in the Jan. 10 armed robbery of the Flash Foods convenience store on Crosstown Road.

Several people were injured when a Jeep Wrangler flipped over after striking a vehicle that Fayetteville Police say ran a stop sign Tuesday night.

Adams completes deployment

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua B. Adams, son of Betty J. White of Lilburn and Kevin L. Adams of Fayetteville, recently completed a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf while assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Belleau Wood, based in San Diego.
