Armed robbery suspect ID'd by detectives Legal details to be worked out By JOHN
MUNFORD Peachtree City police have identified the suspect in the Jan. 10 armed robbery of the Flash Foods convenience store on Crosstown Road. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Howard Lee Duffy, 40, of Atlanta, according to police. The department has worked closely with other metro Atlanta agencies for the past two weeks to identify the suspect, who got away from the Flash Foods with some cash and cigarettes. Other police agencies have obtained arrest warrants for Duffy and another person who assisted him in several other similar incidents, police said. After the robbery occurred, Police Chief James Murray pledged that the suspect would be caught. He noted that the city has not had any unsolved armed robberies.
