Fayette County Water System's plans to dredge Lake Peachtree can move
forward now that Peachtree City has agreed to an easement that will
allow the use of Drake Field as a staging area.

time around: rezoning for 124-home subdivision gets commission OK
Given
a second chance, the Peachtree City Planning Commission again voted
to recommend approval of a 124-home single family subdivision on property
that would be rezoned from general industrial to limited use residential.

Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of a suspect
accused of three residential burglaries.

Goody
Products, Peachtree City, received the 2002 Spirit of Industry Award.
The Existing Industry Committee of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce
gives two awards each year, one for companies with over 50 employees
and one for under 50 employees.

The
Peachtree City Recreation Department recently received state and district
honors from the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association for the Luther
T. Holt Memorial All Children's Playground.

A
late afternoon collision Wednesday between a school bus and a car in
northern Coweta County sent seven students to area hospitals.

The Coweta County
Water and Sewer Department is reducing water restrictions to those imposed
by the state of Georgia following action by Newnan Utilities.

of 2004.
