Anyone got a clue what is going on with them? If you do your a step ahead of their local people.

We got a phone call 2 weeks ago that
stated, trash pick up was now only to be 1 day..

"What day?", I asked with bated breath "Oh I don't know did you not get a letter"? You'll be getting a letter.

As we had been getting Recycling on Monday with Trash Tuesday and Friday we waited.

A paper tag was out on our mailbox that service day was now as of 7/27 - Wednesday. I called the number on the tag and asked if this applied to Recycling as well and was told yes your service day is Wednesday.

When asked about refunds for service paid for was told , probably we'll just credit you for future pick ups.

On Monday 7/27 the Recycling truck drove through the neighborhood as usual, and of course no recycling was out.

On Wednesday 7/29 I put both the trash and recycling at the curb to find only the trash picked up and another announcement card saying that effective next week the new route day will be Monday. For trash ? for recycling ?

Calls to ALL South are not answered.

All South get some decent customer service or there won't be future business.

I missed the pickup Tues. and called half an hour later.
"Someone will be there within 24 hours".

It's Saturday, 4 phone calls and a $25 extra pickup fee paid later.

That trash is still sitting out there grossing out the neighborhood.

I'm betting they'll come Monday late afternoon and keep the $25.

All South merged with Allied/Republic. As Allied services PTC on Wednesdays, I'm sure they "moved" the days to discontinue duplicate service -- which makes perfect sense.

Tell them you know Jack Perko. You'll be amazed how fast they get to your house -- but you didn't hear that from me.

(Jack is the Area President and one heck of a nice guy.)

I also received a flyer about a change in our "service" and I called them to verify if the service was for garbage pick-up or just for recycling. I could not get through after 15 minutes two different times, on hold. Needless to say, our recycling containers have been out there since Monday night. Guess it is time to see if there is another company that has some idea what "service" means!
