Hey I heard today that Babb, Mindar, and Simmons have made a pact.If any of the three get in a runoff against Wayne, the other two will give there votes to them. Sounds like the race is personally against Wayne and not to elect the best Sheriff for the county. What kinda deal have they worked out. Think about it. Sheriff Babb, Chief Deputy Simmons, and Special Operations Chief Mindar. Hey BOSS don't let Mr. Simmons see the Dixie Outfitter shirts in you closet. He may take offense. I would.

What a great point! I have heard the exact same thing from a very reliable source. I wonder what position Mr. Simmons has promised to GIVE to his good buddy, Bruce Jordan?? Now that is a scary thought. Is that someone that we want back in a position of authority within the Sheriff's Department? People need to realize that the ONLY honest and capable man running in this election is Wayne Hannah and the rest are CLOWNS not capable of running a circus!

Sam's Auditorium? For all the hype I've heard about Mr. Hannah, I was surprised at his showing tonight. I was very unimpressed. Babb stood out as the best to me. I'd be interested in what others thought about tonight.

I have heard this myself(and more) from a reliable, honest ex-employee who is female and it's pretty much always formed my opinion on Hannah as unfavorable.

I'm not that wild about Simmons and Mindar seems a little over the top to me for someone who wants to be the head of a serious law enforcement agency like the SO. I doubt his management abilities in regards to modern people skills at this point. That leaves Barry Babb. OK.

So tell the truth on Hannah. I want to hear this one!

I hope they have not worked out some kind of deal. I really wish that this could be a clean campaign. As far as I can tell Hannah is the only one not throwing mud. That's exactly what I expected though. Hannah's experience and professionalism is what makes him the best choice. Some of the other candidates could learn to have better morals by observing him. If any of you have been told that Hannah is not forthright and honest, you have been lied to. Don't let those that are willing to trample the ninth commandment fool you. Hannah's honesty and committment to the citizens of the county are the reasons the Sheriff is supporting him. Thank you Wayne for continuing to take the high road. It will pay off in the end. I don't see a lot of Hannah signs on vehicles, but then, people don't vote for signs. Like Hannah, his supporters are pretty quiet, but I believe they will show up in the voter's booth on July 15.
