Cal, what happened, the last Free Speech that ran in the paper was on November 4th, 09. Did you just decide that it wouldn't run anymore? I know people have things to say so put it back and lets have at it.

Last Thursday I was leaving the subdivision (Sandown Creek) just after the school bus from Huddleston Elem. dropped off the afternoon load of kids.

On Tuesday my son came home with an envelope from the FCBOE that was addressed to me and they wanted me to check it and make sure that the address was correct. It went on to say that due to the Financial difficulties that FCBOE is facing we were to put postage on the envelope and send it back to school. It stated that if you didn't affix postage that your child would not receive their report card for the end of the year and that you would have to go to the welcome center to pick it up. Now don't get me wrong, my problem is not the 44 cents, it is them asking for postage due to their gross mismanagement of funds that we as Tax Paying Citizens provide them with. In the last 5 years my property taxes have increased by $500.00 and it was due to increases put forth by the FCBOE.

Someone please post/repost the times and location of local Tea parties.

Well now Mr. Mayor Otis Campbell, how long will the grass get before your handpicked company will come to the rescue and grace us with their presence? I have lived here for 20 years now and this will be the first time that I can remember that PTC will not be clean cut and beautiful for the Easter season. Its just a shame that with all of the dogwoods and azaleas in bloom and everything so pretty that the grass is a foot tall. The whole place looks like CRAP! I guess waiting 2 weeks before you fired everybody was out of the question, but you would have to think that one through and who has time for that with your place at the Y-Knot waiting.

On Thursday April 2nd. we were suppose to finally find out who had bragging rites for the year in Varsity Boys/Girls Soccer (McIntosh/Starrs Mill) but the rain postponed that until next week.

Maybe the FCBOE could take a page out of Henry counties book and prosecute out of county students. With all of this talk about laying off 150 teachers one would have to be Brain Dead not to think that we could recoup a portion of the current deficit by getting rid of out of county students (Clayton).
