PTC Rivalries

On Thursday April 2nd. we were suppose to finally find out who had bragging rites for the year in Varsity Boys/Girls Soccer (McIntosh/Starrs Mill) but the rain postponed that until next week.
But on Wednesday night April 1st. some kids from Starrs Mill thought that it would be a good joke on McIntosh to go over and paint up the place. They painted the Football/Soccer field and all of the signs around the field Blue and Black. And if that weren't enough they decided that to top it all off they would paint a big Penis on the side of the new Baseball training building. Now that shows some class kids. I just thought everyone should know. The kids a Starrs Mill are not all darlings, they have just as many Problems as McIntosh.

If you can't figure out which kids did it... then punish them all and let them sort it our amongest themselves.

Also, I'm not a parent but I see a lot of parents complaining about other parents being poor sports. Maybe thats part of the problem.

going to happen, but the 2 principals met with the school board and the individual who donated the baseball practice building yesterday. What I heard that they are considering is to make Starrs Mill forfeit the rest of the season for all spring sports for the school. I don't think that is the best avenue to take, but I believe that they are trying to (as in the words of Barney) "nip it in the bud". I don't believe that it was the athletes that did this, I think it was another group of kids. But none the less it was a very expensive prank that the tax payers of Fayette county should not have to pay for (Starrs Mill's Principal has already said that they would pay for the damages). The parents of these lovely children should have to pony up for this one, not the rest of us.

I think the whole spring season is a little harsh. But this isn't the first time either. If you punish all the kids including the good ones they will make sure the bad kids knock it off. These kids need to learn about being good sports. Both sides. McIntosh has pulled there share of bullsh*t to. Acually, I think they should punish both sides with a two or three games suspension. Because didn't McIntosh spray there school last year as well. Don't take away the season. Make them practice but take away state finals.
