County residents can recycle their Christmas trees by bringing them

supports sewer funding request
ATLANTA State
Sen. Dan Lee (R-LaGrange) said he will support Gov. Sonny Perdues
request for funding in the upcoming legislative session to allow the
Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority to loan the City of Atlanta
$500 million over a ten-year period to repair their failing sewer system.
Lee is Perdues administration floor leader in the Senate.

Southern Crescent Aquatic Team Senior swimmers generated some powerful
swims at the Georgia Senior State Championships Dec. 1214 in Atlanta.
SCAT clearly made an impact on the Georgia swimming scene by finishing
in the top six (girls fourth, boys sixth) out of over 23 teams from
around the state.
