high school baseball season has begun and many of the local teams will
face off against each other this week in the Fayette Sports Preseason
Classic.
Local
soccer teams fall to top ranked squads
To
be the best, you have to play the best. That is what several local soccer
teams did last weekend and though the locals lost, they have to be somewhat
encouraged.
Fayette
County youth wrestlers perform well at state tournament
The
Fayette County Thrashers Wrestling Club entered the state youth wrestling
tournament recently and finished second in the novice division and fourth
overall.
