Lady Cougar soccer team win academic award

The 2000 Newnan Lady Cougars soccer team earned an extra award after a successful season. The team qualified for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Academic (NSCAA) Award.

Reinhardt Eagles soar with four former McIntosh players

Four members of last year's McIntosh Chiefs boys soccer team played for the Reinhardt Eagles team this fall. Though only freshmen, their impact was great.

Chiefs defeat Tigers, 58-31

Tuesday was the second meeting this season of the cross county rivals, and once again the McIntosh Chiefs boys made it look easy as they defeated the Fayette County Tigers, 58-31. The Tigers got off to an early lead, but trailed after a low scoring first quarter, 11-9. On their home court, the Chiefs of Peachtree City lead going into the half by a dozen, 23-11.
