Big games for local teams in sixth week of the season

The high school football season is half over and our local teams are entering the second half with one thing on their mind more wins.

Landmark is a contender as area meets begin

Landmark Christian School's varsity volleyball team is currently ranked fourth in Georgia among all classifications. With a high school population of approximately 300 students, LCS is a Class A school. The Lady War Eagles have earned their current 30-4 record by regularly defeating AAA, AAAA, and AAAAA opponents.

Teams hitting strides with county championship drawing near

Hey, can you get out of work early on Tuesday ? If you can swing it, it will be worth your while. The Fayette County Cross Country Championship will be held at Sandy Creek High School at 5 p.m. on Tuesday and the competition has never been closer.

Winston Cup All Stars will be testing cars next week at AMS
