Panthers win first home game ever

Starr's Mill played their first regular season football game in their new stadium last Friday and the results were a success. Hosting Newnan, The Panthers remained undefeated by winning by a score of 37-35.

Teams run well in Carrollton

After a fairly disappointing run at the Darlingotn-Berry Invitational, the McIntosh Lady Cheifs are back on track. They won the Championship division at the Carrollton invitational this past weekend with an overall total of 81 points. Lakeside placed second with 97 points, while Fayette County placed 16th and Sandy Creek placed 19th.

Lady Patriots volleyball team looks good

The Sandy Creek varsity volleyball team is having a successful season. They improved their record to 16-3 last week with wins over Union Grove, Rockdale, Stockbridge and Banneker.

Fayette Christian prepares for Homecoming

The Fayette Christian Falcons, competing in the Georgia Christian Athletic Association, play eight-man tackle football and are currently 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the region.

Stinchcomb dminates Coweta Raceway in Newan

Kyle Stinchcomb of Fayetteville won the points race and overall track championship in the W.K. Junior Stock Division for the 2000 season.

CCSU homecoming features soccer match

Clayton College & State University's Oct. 7 Homecoming will feature soccer games for the first time.
