Stinchcomb dminates
Coweta Raceway in Newan
Kyle Stinchcomb of Fayetteville
won the points race and overall track championship in the W.K. Junior
Stock Division for the 2000 season.
Stinchcomb is a freshman at Fayette County High School and a member of
the freshman football team. He is the son of Johnny and Wanda Stinchcomb.
In just his second season of racing, Stinchcomb set a track record by
winning 18 of 20 races and leading the most laps per race in one season
ever at the track.
Stinchcomb credits his success to lots of practice and a love of the sport.
Of course, he also has found the right gear combination and chassis
set-up. He also thanks Roberts Kart Shop in Lovejoy for building a strong
engine.
After completing a successful season in Newnan, his next goal is to win
the National WKA Dirt Kart Championship in Lanett, Ala. next month. He
also plans on moving up to the stock lite division next year and to do
more traveling with the Big Wrench Racing Team, which consists of him
and his father.
Like any good racer, sponsorships help breed success. Anyone interested
in becoming a sponsor should contact Kyle at 770-460-0673.
