Fayette versus Henry in Crime

Fayette had 33 incidents of violent crime and Henry had 323?

Big thanks to Fayette County Sheriff's Dept. and our city police officers. Now if we could just find a DA for you to work with.

Murders?

What was the second murder here? I think one was when that lady murdered her husband at NCR because they were getting a divorce or something like that. What was the other one?

The 2 victims were Nancy and Daniel Benoit.

Makes me sad. Wish I hadn't looked it up.

The other case you referred to was in 06.

Well, a feller got pounded into the sidewalk not long ago!

May be 2nd degree or something--don't know yet!

I assume we are talking about murders where someone was charged?
Drunks in cars don't count! Dopers in cars don't count! Secret murders don't count! And the needling of innocent people don't count.

Let’s all pretend that the increase in violent crime isn’t related to the increase in blacks moving to Fayette County. Statistical trending and tracking is no way to determine root cause, right?

And before you apologists for bad behavior respond, please try to do so without the "you too" argument. This has nothing to do with whatever white Catholic priests do to little boys or when your grandmother first voted.

When I saw the difference in numbers..

from Fayette compared to Henry, my decision to move was reinforced again. I left Henry over 4 years ago, and I've never regretted it.
