There are two things that really bug me about the school my child attends. Hopefully before she graduates one or both of them will be resolved:

This is the classic definition of "nerve" although I'd rather use the term "ba**s" but i won't.

At about 1PM at the PTC post office I was second in line to use the automated postal machine. Then a lady walks in and stands with two christmas card envelopes off to my side but not in line.

As I watch the construction progress on 74 south each day I get more puzzled regarding the purpose for the sidewalks they are installing on both sides.

Am I the only one annoyed by the fact that kids my daughter's age (14 years old) sit there openly at this store parking lot and smoke? We stopped by there today and she pointed out to me two kids smoking in a golf cart who will be 9th graders at Starrs Mill this year.

We lost our cable in the Tuesday night storm.

We were promised Thursday and no show. Friday we were promised 2 to 5. At 5:15 a receptionist called to tell us the tech would not be out today and would 8 to 11 today (Sat) be OK. What choice did I have but say yes.

I'm really surprised that there's been little written over the fact that the BCBCGA contract with Piedmont expired 6/30/06.
