Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanitys first Women Build House will be constructed in honor of Mrs. Jean Daane. The affiliates Board of Directors along with the Women Build Committee voted unanimously to honor Mrs. Daane, a board member, past president and long time volunteer with NCHFH. What does volunteerism mean to you? Over the past two years, the Coweta County School System has worked to develop several new approaches and resources in the areas of communication, human resources, leadership, student support services, teaching and learning, and finances. One of those areas, communication, has been a particular focus. The American Business Womens Association, Coweta Chapter, honored Elizabeth (Beth) Gotham as the 2004 ABWA Coweta County Secondary Education Scholarship recipient at the chapters annual Awards Dinner May 18. The $1,000 scholarship may be used for secondary education in any accredited college, university, vocational or technical school. |
