The Peachtree City
Youth Soccer Association and the WUSA's Atlanta Beat will be hosting
Peachtree City Soccer Day Sunday, April 27, from 1-5 p.m. at the baseball-soccer
complex on Ga. Highway 74 south.
Golf,
soccer keeps spring breakers busy
A
few dozen young athletes managed to stay busy during spring break by
participating in two local sports camps last week.

The Fayette County
Tigers' next two home baseball games will feature pregame festivities
saluting past championship teams.
Pioneers
set track meeting
An
informational/organizational meeting for the SouthSide Pioneers Track
& Field Club is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the
Peachtree City Library. Interested participants should bring a copy
of a birth certificate or driver's license, a list of current or most
recent events with personal bests, and uniform size (required; windsuit
is optional).
Applications
now taken for Youth Triathlon
Applications
are now being accepted for the 12th annual Peachtree City Youth Triathlon,
scheduled for Saturday, May 31, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Glenloch
Recreation Area.
Tigers
busy on links
The
Fayette County Tigers golf team played right through spring break into
the home stretch of the season, with two recent tournaments and some
head-to-head team matchups.

sets sports camps
The
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School athletic department has announced
the schedule for its summer sports camps. Coach Lee McDermott will have
the Mercy Baseball Camp June 9-12, followed by Coach Alan Gordon and
the Mercy Football Camp June 23-27. Coach Clay Cushman will have the
Mercy Girls Basketball Camp June 24-27. For additional information,

camp June 2-6
The Jim Waller-Lady
Patriot Basketball Camp is scheduled for June 2-6 at Sandy Creek High
