Fulton
County prepared in case of bioterrorism
On a day when letters
containing mysterious powder was sent to Georgia's two United States
Senators, several dozen citizens packed the South Fulton Service Center
last week to find out more about bioterrorism. An informational meeting
was held March 25 to inform citizens about the Fulton County Department
of Health and Wellness role in preparing for a Bioterrorism event.

The Friends of the
East Point Library, Fulton County Arts Council, City of East Point,

Beginning this week,
Latham Home Sanitation will take over weekly curbside pickup of yard
and bulk waste for residents of unincorporated South Fulton County.

reminds Georgians to change clock, battery
Insurance and Safety
Fire Commissioner John W. Oxendine is urging Georgians to change the
batteries in their smoke alarms at the same time they change their clocks
to daylight saving time April 6.

Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with
Whitewater Golf Club, will be offering a number of new golf programs
for kids and adults this summer.
