The state football playoffs began last Friday night and Starr's Mill and Landmark Christian advanced to the second round with convincing wins while Sandy Creek fell to the Ware County Gators in Waycross.

Indoor baseball school opens in PTC

Lloyd Thompson never got his cup of coffee in major league baseball but he hopes that his experience in college and minor league ball will help him help others get that taste. Thompson has opened Home Plate Hitting and Pitching Instruction, an indoor baseball instructional facility in Peachtree City.

Winning Season for PTC Flash young athletes

PTC Flash Sub-Bantam (8 and Under) athletes competed in the Region III Cross County Junior Olympics held this weekend in Carrollton, Georgia. States in the competition were Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington D.C. and Georgia. The Sub-bantam athletes run a difficult 2K (1.24 miles) cross-country course.
