Soccer players will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a soccer camp over the Christmas holiday with three professional soccer players.

The Soccer Centre and Director Charlie Morgan present the Goals Galore Chrismas Soccer Camp Dec. 21-22 at McCurry Park. Morgan will be joined by Bruce Murray, a two time NCAA national champion with Clemson University and member of the 1990 US World Cup team; Nel Fettig, a member of the WUSA's Carolina Courage and three time NCAA national champion with the University of North Carolina and Rakel Karvelsson, a teammate of Fettig's at UNC, a member of the WUSA's Philadelphia Charge and a member of the Icelandic national team. Karelsson also played for McIntosh High School and the Lightning Soccer Club.

The camp will run from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 21 and from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 22. The fee is $80 and each player will receive a camp t-shirt. There will be specialized training for goalkeepers.

After the holidays, the Soccer Centre will be the site of the Georgia High School Indoor Championships. The tournament will take place Jan. 1-2 and play will be open to both boys and girls. All games are 25 minutes and each team is guaranteed at least four games. All players must be from the same high school. This event is not sanctioned by or affiliated with the Georgia High School Association.
