former Brooks resident was found guilty Tuesday of simple battery and
cruelty to children for an altercation with his long-time live-in girlfriend
during an argument at the couple's residence in June of last year.
Men
convicted for snatching woman's wallet at PTC Kroger
Two Fulton County
men were convicted Tuesday of robbery by sudden snatching for stealing
a wallet from an elderly woman at the Peachtree City Kroger on Ga. Highway
74 North in March.

woman recently became the first adult education student in Fayette County
to complete two programs offered locally by Griffin Technical College.

of company and were about to sit down for dinner when the phone rung.
Daniel answered and listened at length before asking the caller to repeat
her name. Then he handed me the phone and said, "Maybe you better
take it. Says she's a long-lost fourth cousin or something."
