Auction for Alzheimer's next week

Newnan Hospital and Beaulieu Convalescent Center are raising funds for the Alzheimer Association's upcoming Memory Walk, scheduled for Oct. 5, with an auction Thursday, Oct. 3, from 3-6 p.m. at Beef O'Brady's in Peachtree City.

Many local merchants and employees have donated items such as gift certificates, gift baskets, books, meals, furniture, rugs and handmade items.

Tickets, which are $3 per person, are available from Holly Blair at Beaulieu (770-254-3387) or at the door. All proceeds collected will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association from the Newnan Hospital/Beaulieu Convalescent Center team.
