Easter memories

I'm leaving it to all my colleagues to say the profound and wonderful things about this, the week that changed the world. And about the significance of what the world calls Easter and we call Resurrection Sunday. So, just let me reflect on Easter memories.

Tyrone First Christian Church will offer reenactment of Last Supper Thursday

Members of the First Christian Church of Tyrone will present a reenactment of the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. The program will include portrayal of many of the events which led to the institution of the Lord's Supper, including interchanges between Jesus and the disciples as they met in the Upper Room to observe the Passover. Dressed in biblical attire, the "disciples" will serve the Lord's supper to all those who wish to partake.

Atlanta City Church to present 'Eternity' April 13

Atlanta City Church in Fairburn will present, "Eternity, The Ultimate Experience," Friday- Sunday, April 13-15, Tuesday-Saturday, April 17-21, And Sunday April 22 at the church. Each performance will start at 7 p.m. except April 22, when performances are scheduled for 4 and 7 p.m. The free production is a play about life after death.

Nativity to welcome Easter with ancient rites, practices

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will begin Easter Sunday in the darkness, before dawn, gathered around a bonfire.
