Revival at McDonough Road Baptist set for April 22-25 Spring Revival is set for Sunday, April 22 through Wednesday, April 25 at McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville. McDonough Road pastor, David Chancey, says, "The theme, 'A Time for Refreshing,' reminds the church family and community members that we need to pull away and give attention to our spiritual lives from time to time. We each can use a fresh touch from God that reenergizes our lives." Guest preacher is Charles Redmond, pastor of First Baptist Church, Pasadena, Texas. A former member of McDonough Road. Redmond was ordained to the ministry by McDonough Road. Jimmy Herweck, Redmond's minister of music from the Texas church, accompanied him to Fayetteville and will serve as guest musician during the revival. Also speaking briefly Sunday morning will be former Atlanta Brave Sid Bream who will share his testimony. Services are at 10:55 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday. Evening services will be at 7 p.m. A midday service will be held Monday only from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. In addition, the ladies' ministry invites all ladies to attend a ladies' luncheon Tuesday at noon in the church fellowship hall. Dottie Redmond will speak on "Praying for our Children and Grandchildren." The community is invited to attend each revival service.
