Pancakes and prayer ... good for the soul

A rare set of relationships receives weekly nurture at the Fayetteville IHOP. They are your pastors and ministers. Now, for more than five years they have gathered every Tuesday morning for breakfast, encouragement, laughter, and many times prayer. If you know something of the dynamics of a truck stop, well, this is a truck stop for pastors. After breakfast, we get back on the road.

Kenwood Christian/Whitewater to present 'We Behold His Glory'

The fine Arts Ministry of Christ's Church at Whitewater/Kenwood Christian Church, will present the seventh annual performance of its Easter pageant, "We Behold His Glory," on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 15 at 9 and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday performances are interpreted for the hearing impaired.

St. Gabriel's Catholic Church plans special Holy Week events

The Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel in Fayetteville will celebrate Holy Week along with other Christian churches in the community, beginning with a joint Palm Sunday service with its neighbor, The Episcopal Church of the Nativity.

Nativity announces Holy Week activities

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will mark the beginning of Holy Week, Sunday April 8, with the people of the Catholic Church of St. Gabriel's.

PTC UMC hosts community-wide service

Peachtree City United Methodist Church will host a community-wide Easter celebration on Easter Sunday, April 15 at 11 a.m., at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater in Peachtree City.

Flat Creek Baptist presents Easter play this weekend

Flat Creek Baptist Church will present its annual Easter play, "The Life of Christ," Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 6, 7 and 8. Friday and Sunday performances will start at 7:30 p.m. Two performances will be offered Saturday, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

River's Edge plans Holy Week events

Members of River's Edge Community Church will begin Holy Week activities with a children's processional on Palm Sunday at the 10 a.m. service.

Peachtree City Church of God offers 'largest Easter egg hunt in the county'

The largest Easter egg hunt in Coweta County will take place Saturday, April 14, at Peachtree City Church of God located one mile east of Thomas Crossroads on Ga. Hwy. 34.
