PTC Presbyterian hosts community Good Friday service

The annual community Good Friday service, hosted by the ministers of Peachtree City, will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City, Friday, April 13 from noon until 1:30 p.m. The theme is "The Seven Last Words of Christ." Ministers from several churches in Peachtree City will participate in the service. Those attending are invited to, "Come when you can ... leave when you must." First Presbyterian is at Floy Farr Pkwy. and Willowbend Rd.

Prince of Peace announces Easter activities

Members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will begin their observance of the Easter celebration with Maundy Thursday services at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12. Good Friday services on April 13 will be conducted at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Easter Sunday will begin with a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. outdoors in the Peace Chapel, followed by a communion service at 8 a.m., contemporary music Easter celebration at 9:30 a.m., and Festival Communion with brass instruments and the Hallelujah Chorus at 11:15 a.m. All morning services except the sunrise service will be held in the sanctuary.

Fayetteville Christian to present Easter musical

Members of Fayetteville Christian Church invite the community to attend the adult choir's performance of "Redeemer," an Easter musical and worship experience, on Easter Sunday, April 15, at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Full children's programming will be offered for both services. No Bible fellowship classes will be offered on Easter Sunday. Fayetteville Christian is at New Hope Rd. and Hickory Rd. in Fayetteville.

Providence UMC plans Holy Week activities

Members of Providence United Methodist Church will begin Holy Week activities with Palm Sunday services at 9 and 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 8. A Maundy Thursday service is planned for Thursday, April 12 and an Easter egg hunt for Saturday, April 14. An Easter sunrise service partnered with Heritage Christian Church is scheduled for Sunday, April 15 at 7 a.m. at the lake at Heritage. A joint breakfast will follow the service. Easter Sunday services are planned for 9 and 11 a.m. Providence is at 592 Bernhard Rd. in south Fayette County.

'Resurrection Celebration' scheduled at Body of Christ

The Body of Christ Christian Church invites the community to attend "Resurrection Celebration," an Easter musical, on Friday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. The performance will feature the Body of Christ Christian Church Sanctuary Choir, the Voices of Praise, The "Chosen" (teen choir), the Lambs of God (children's choir), the Preschoolers and the Body of Christ Christian Church Orchestra. Inman UMC plans sunrise service

Inman United Methodist Church will have a sunrise service on Easter Sunday, April 15, at 7 a.m. in the Inman Cemetery. Breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall following the service. Regular Sunday school and morning services will follow.

McDonough Rd. Baptist presents Easter musicals

McDonough Road Baptist Church will present two musical selections for the Easter season. On Wednesday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m., the Adult Ensemble will present "Song of the Shadows," an Easter candlelight service. The choir and orchestra will present a musical drama, "Alone at the Altar," Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. For further information, call the church at 770-460-5423.
