Arbor Springs to host Street of Dreams: Street of Dreams, Inc., has selected Arbor Springs Plantation in Newnan as the site of its 11th annual Atlanta Street of Dreams luxury home show.

We're looking for a few good men and women to build the homes of the future: Overall employment in the construction trades is expected to increase from just under 6 million to more than 6.5 million from 1998 to 2008, according to a forecast from the U.S. Department of Labor. For the home building industry, this means that demand for workers is expected to exceed supply for some time to come, and that could have an impact on the cost of building new homes.

Historical Concepts wins Southern Living award: Longtime Peachtree City architect Jim Strickland and his company, Historical Concepts, were recently honored by Southern Living magazine for the design of a Greek Revival house in South Carolina.

The award was presented by cruise sponsor Rich Mahaffey of Plymart. ParkLane Homes received the award for "outstanding participation and performance in improving operations efficiencies."

Keller Williams opens Market Center: Keller Williams Realty has announced the opening of the Peachtree City-Newnan Market Center, temporarily located at 400 West Park Court, Suite 230. The Market Center will move into a permanent office space (location pending) this spring.
