Fads come and go... but Jesus is here to stay

For those of you who can, remember when Santa Claus brought tons of CBs from the North Pole to distribute to us adults for Christmas? Anyone who was someone had to have a CB radio so we could say, "Breaker one-nine, what's your handle good buddy?" If you can remember, you are remembering almost 25 years ago. I mean everybody just had to have his or her own CBthat is, Citizens Ban Radio.

Jane Nasrallah to minister at CDM

Florida resident Jane Nasrallah, a member of Bishop Bill Harmon's Christian International ministry in Santa Rosa, Fla., will minister during the Covenant Keeper meetings at CDM Teaching and Training Center in Tyrone on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 7-9 p.m., and again on Sunday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m.-noon.

Body of Christ offers 'Sounds of Christmas'

A special program of Christmas music is scheduled for this Friday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m., at The Body of Christ Christian Church on Kenwood Road in Fayetteville.

Christ Our Shepherd schedules special music Saturday, Sunday

The music ministry at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church offers a "Christmas gift to the congregation and community" this weekend, with a special Christmas music program to be presented Saturday and Sunday.

Flat Creek schedules Dessert Theater Sat.

Flat Creek Baptist Church will present a Christmas Dessert Theater Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16 and 17, featuring the adult and youth choirs. Both performances begin at 7 p.m. For more information, call 770-487-4890.

Nativity will have four Christmas services

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will have four services this Christmasthe first Christmas services in its new home.

St. Gabriel's Catholic Church announces Christmas masses

The Catholic Church of St. Gabriel in Fayetteville will celebrate Christmas with three celebrations of the Eucharist on Christmas Eve and a morning Mass on Christmas Day.
