Nativity will have four Christmas services

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will have four services this Christmasthe first Christmas services in its new home.

Four different services are planned for Sunday, Dec. 24. Morning Prayer, which marks the end of the Advent season, will take place at 10:30 a.m. A children's service of Lessons and Carols, with hand chimes and a pageant, will begin at 3:30 p.m. A traditional service of Holy Eucharist (without incense) is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The late night service begins with a musical prelude from 10:00 ­ 10:30 p.m., conducted by Dr. John Schuster-Craig, head of the music department at Clayton College and State University. The solemn service of Holy Eucharist (with incense) starts at 10:30 p.m. All are welcome.

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity is part of the 93 parishes in the Diocese of Atlanta (www.episcopal-atl.org) and a member of the world-wide Anglican Communion.
