Well I got a couple calls from automated Harold and the Gettysburg address from his wife on one call, but I also had the opportunity to hang up if it bothered me that much. Heck, the guy's just trying to get his message out. Harold's a fine guy and will be a good mayor. Now if I get a taped call from Brown, I can only hope it's just before dinner because I need to lose a few pounds and could use something to help me lose my appetite...

Logsdon's calls are pushy, big money tactics. I earlier complained. I received three calls. On the first, I politely asked to be removed. I sent him an email; no response. Finally, we received a call on Sunday night during dinner. If he won't listen to me now, he won't listen to me in January.

Concerned Citizen and Watchdog may have loose standards. We do not. Even though my candidate did not make runoff, Logsdon's rudeness will lead me to vote for his opponent.

The problem is that too many people have abandoned their standards.

I hate pushy, big money tactics too! But, unless Logsdon himself was harassing you, please, I beg of you, take pity on the rest of us and DON'T vote for Steve Brown. I’m sure the people calling you were overzealous and inconsiderate. But, if I had your number, I have to admit, I would want to call you and plead with you myself.

It's not about loose standards - its about trying to stop the insanity. Without getting to know Steve Brown personally, you just have no idea how truly catastrophic it would be for him to get reelected. The man has done enough damage. Please don’t give him the opportunity to do more.

You are worried that Logsdon won’t listen to you in January if he won’t listen to you now and stop his telemarketers from calling your house. Well, Steve Brown hasn’t listened to anyone but himself for the past four years, what makes you think he will start now?

Look, you won't find a perfect politician. But, I guarantee that you won't find a much worse politician than Steve Brown. He is the mocked throughout the State of Georgia. He is an embarrassment to us all. Logsdon's standards may be lower than your own, but I guarantee you that Brown's standards are even lower. Not only does he have terribly bad judgment and an unhealthy appreciation for himself, he lies incessantly and he cares nothing about real people. I’ve watched him destroy lives and not think twice about the damage he caused. He’s all about Steve and his perception of Steve.

This decision is just too important for you to make based on an irritation with telemarketers. Please vote for Lodgsdon and then once he gets elected, feel free to call him during dinner anytime you want! He signed on for that when he put his name on the ballot.

Yes, I consider it harassment when you tell someone to stop bothering you at home. I have four little children. They answer the phones. We egularly expect phone calls from family on Sunday. That Logsdon would consider calling on Sunday at all is outrageous and particularly after we said please stop it, giving him our phone number.

I called Mayor Brown twice in the last couple of years. He personally called back both times. I contact Logsdon during the campaign. Not even his paid political operatives called back. No, I am not a big money business or contributor and that is why he did not call back.

If he won't call during a campaign unless you are a contributor and he won't quit calling you when you ask him not to, he probably won't give me the time of day in January.

I hate telemarketers and annoying phone calls. But, Logdson is smart to reach out to as many people as he can. Calling people on a Sunday afternoon when they are likely to be home, just makes sense. Give it a rest. Its not like he called to wake you up at 4 a.m.

I seriously doubt that Logdson intentionally annoyed you. I'm sure he wasn't sitting there himself with a list of phone numbers, saw your specific number and thought to himself "Hey, Let's annoy that family just one more time! Whooo hooo, Better yet,… It's dinner time on Sunday. They really ought to really hate it!" On the other hand, while it may be hard for some people grasp, that IS exactly the kind of small minded, twisted little game that Steve Brown likes to play.

Sure, Steve Brown will return your phone calls. He would never miss an opportunity to incessantly blather to someone willing to listen. He seizes every opportunity he can to spread his load of …..lies and innuendo. His egomania thrives on controversy, no matter the source or the consequence. He is a master manipulator. He will listen to you just long enough to get an idea to spin off into a totally unrelated tangent or tale of woe. He makes every effort to appear concerned and interested, but don’t mistake that “effort to appear” with genuine concern or interest. He will smile at you and nod his head in agreement. He will pat you on the back, tell you that he understands and he will even go as far to tell you that you are a great person for bringing your concern to him. But, he won’t understand or grasp a word you say because he doesn’t have any grasp on reality. He will twist your words around into something else entirely or he will just flat out lie and cause more problems that you ever imagined. And, the next time you talk to him, he will have no recollection of who you are or what you talked about because when it comes right down to it, he doesn’t care …rather he is incapable of caring…about anything beyond his own little fantasy world.

Hey, don't worry about plwindco, he is just a "Brownie" trying to get the vote swung. No one would vote for Brown just because he got a telemarketer call for his opponent during a campaign. That is the most absurd reasoning and truth is, he is going to vote for Brown no matter what. So what? The citizens are fed up with Brown. You did a great job laying out exactly why. There are always a few "lemmings" willing to follow someone like Brown over the proverbial cliff. Let them jump. We just need to get the vote out. The community is tired of his "style," and it will finally come to an end on Dec. 6. Just consider, does anyone really know anyone who actually LIKES what Brown has done? I know they are out there, but sure as heck, I talk to a lot of people, and I just can't seem to find them. But I guess when there are only 1600 out of 20,000 they are few an far between. Let's get the vote out and send Steve a huge message.
