Mutt Hunter

I really like the intentional mis-spelling of “Butt” Hunter (left hand typing a right hand letter). I am neither a fan nor opponent of Mutt and actually I am a left handed relative of the man he defeated for commission. I actually remember that man’s father being a commissioner. That’s how far I go back. So I can tell you ONE thing, when Mutt became commissioner he saw that East Coweta was provided services. I saw things taken care of that I didn’t even know needed done.
Mutt was a very big proponent of a land use plan. He was all about large lot sizes. He was not a big friend of developers. Things have been printed (anonymously) about his career where the time line is not accurate about when he was Coweta administrator, worked (at what position) and was on the Coweta commission.
Blogs and Vents are great but again…Don’t believe everything you read here.

Hey where is M(B)utt Hunter on this overdevelopment of TDK issue? Did his golden low density chariot break down?

It kind of hypocritical of Hunter to crow like a old rooster on nailing people's feet down to the county land plan all those years on the county commission and then support an abomination like the site on TDK. Mutt's silence speaks volumes about his character and devotion to quality growth.

Is East Coweta the center of the universe? Why Mr. Hunter says nothing about the congestion this will create for PTC and Fayette? Does he ever travel to Atlanta? Is he employed by Mr. Reese now to advocate for this monstrosity of project?

I grew up in Senoia and we all knew someone who was kin to Mutt. You are right that Mutt doggedly defended the land plan for a good long while. But something changed.

He got in with this Reese fellow who also lives in east Coweta. There are some that say Mutt has got some family land to sell but I can't prove it either way.

From what I've heard Mutt is trying to rally support for the big development on the end of TDK. That's about 180 degrees from where he used to be on things. Shoot, I remember when he used to complain about development in Peachtree City all the time.

I like living in Peachtree City and my kids do too. I hope we can kill the TDK monster before it's too late. It's going to drain our roads bad. A lot of the original supporters are backiing away from it now, so maybe there's some hope.
