Slanderous, the mayor, Mutt & me

I certainly enjoy the anonymity that this blog affords & the discussion that may follow. However, I think with the freedom it is unfortunate that any accusation, assumption or supposition can and will be made about anyone and posted as fact.

I admit to frequenting sports bars and other bars in town and you know what? I have never seen the mayor in any of them.

A post was made about Mutt Hunter. I hope my parents can’t read me defending him from their graves BUT…. It is inaccurate to portray him as pro-developer. As a member of the Coweta county commission he was quite the slow growth guy. Whoever posted did not know the complete resume. He was the county administrator for Coweta county for a number of years. Resigned (I believe). Moved over to the same position in Fayette. Retired. And ran for commission in Coweta. I’ll let John Thompson sort all this out if necessary.

The short of this blog is…. Don’t believe everything you read.

It looks as though bladderq is committing the same crime is accusing other of, namely tossing statements in public without fact to back them up.

I grew up in Senoia and still have family there. No one drove the TDK road any harder than Mutt Hunter. So ask yourself why? Is Mutt trying to fund his retirement? Does his family own land on the Coweta side of TDK? What is that land worth after TDK is constructed?

Mutt is no choir boy.

Vernon Hunter: the Facts....He is well connected with the Coweta development community through contributions and relationships. He is intimately connected to Westmoreland and Seabaugh, both also big proponents of the TDK and both connected to development.

As for Harold Logdson, it is common knowledge that he drinks in public on a frequent basis. Illegal? No...Fact? Yes...I have only seen him in public three times, and each time he was consuming a beer.

Each of these men are public figures subject to critique.
