Cal Beverly Won't Be Eating Crow

Cal Beverly, Editor and Publisher, you were exactly correct. I feel like the guy in Vegas who plopped all his winnings down on a number and then wish he hadn’t. Dinner tables all over Peachtree City are going to be serving crow on a stick, small potatoes, mushed corn.

It’s not just coincidence that the movement to expand PTC’s sewer outside the city limits, rezoning requests for apartments, huge annexations and some of the most dense single family housing plans in our history have occurred with Harold Logsdon at the helm. The voters were warned. Not enough us took those warnings seriously.

The mayor has been almost the exact opposite of how he was promoted. We’re heading in the wrong direction, mismanaged, broken promises and totally out of control. The titanic developments that will keep popping up on the other end of TDK are going to show us what life is like in Gwinnett, Cobb and North Fulton counties, traffic that never subsides and crime numbers that continue to climb.

There’s no crow on your plate Cal. We blew it.

I already ate my crow; it could have used more salt.

Maybe we can turn a few bucks by selling "Blame Me, I Voted For Logsdon" T-shirts. We'd have get the ones with the collar so my buddies at Flat Creek can wear them on the course.

Sales of the "Logsdon: No New Taxes" T-shirts have bombed.

Vote Republican

We'll be watching bumper to bumper. The radio traffic copter will have to move further south to issue traffic warnings.

Those of us that work outside the "Bubble" ARE already watching bumper to bumper traffic.

All of the developers were waiting in the wings, with their proposals, for Logsdon to be elected?

Hmmmm. And who backed his election bid.

I think 1 + 1 still equals 2.
