What Maxwell Will Do

PTC Guy's picture

Folks, guessing may be fun, but it is pointless.

We will see.

But let us have the smarts to keep an eye on things from the beginning. Don't let how the Commission functions fall off the radar.

Finally, what happens in the run-off is also a major dynamics issue.

Patience. Wait, see and then discuss and react.

Very well put. Eric does deserve our support until proven otherwise. I learned that lesson years ago when Paul Coverdell ran. I was certain he would turn out to be a light weight political gimp and so I did not support him. He proved me wrong in a big way and I became one of his staunchest supporters. I'm hoping this happens with Eric. Best of success to you Eric.

That's the more pertinent question and one that concerns me for the near-term.... we still have six months of the "Three Amigos" to contend with.

point.

Hmmm. Wells will be good for 3 weeks, until the run-off.

Peter Panick will be looking forward to his next election.

Dunn, who knows?

He may think of a run in the next election to get back on.

A very interesting point to ponder.

Judging from the rhetoric of the Maxwell partisans in the last month, Maxwell will lower county attorney fees, cure the sick, feed the poor, bow and scrape to the Sheriff as a supplicant should, heal the lame and make Fayette county once again a paragon of truth, justice and the Amurican Way.

I suspect he'll rezone the entire county for higher density as well but hey everything has it's price, right?

Based on what? Janet's declarations. Dunn's.

False accusations about being a developer?

As I said, we don't know.

But, if he keeps his promises we will be fine.

The issue was not bowing to the Sheriff. It was their abuse of the Sheriff and costly, frivolous lawsuits for the purpose of seizing powers they never had and never will, by law.

Dunn is out. Maxwell is in. Let us see what he does and THEN comment.
